We’re looking for aQA Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the overall quality assurance strategy, test planning, execution, and automation for software applications. This role involves overseeing the team of QA analysts, collaborating with development and product teams, and implementing best practices to ensure software quality, performance, and security. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of manual and automated testing processes and is experienced in leading QA teams in Agile environments.

  • Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Test Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with business goals and software development processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and automation engineers, providing technical guidance and review their work.
  • Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and methodologies across projects.
  • Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product management teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Test Planning & Execution
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage by mapping test cases to business and technical requirements.
  • Oversee manual and automated test execution, ensuring high-quality software releases.
  • Implement and maintain test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr,Jira).
  • Test Automation & CI/CD Integration
  • Define and drive the test automation strategy to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or Appium.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven testing to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Defect Management & Reporting
  • Oversee defect tracking and management, ensuring issues are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved.
  • Utilize bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla) to monitor defect trends and improve product quality.
  • Generate QA metrics and reports (test execution status, defect rates, test coverage) to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Performance, Security & Compliance Testing
  • Lead performance testing efforts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
  • Collaborate with security teams to conduct penetration and vulnerability testing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 29119, ISTQB, GDPR, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
  • Agile & DevOps Collaboration
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Advocate for Shift-Left Testing by integrating testing early in the development cycle.
  • Work closely with developers to implement unit testing and code quality practices.
