POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is a field-based commercial professional responsible for developing and growing Mirum’s cholestatic disease portfolio within an assigned territory in Italy.

Working in close partnership with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary care teams, the RAM develops and executes territory account plans that improve patient access and support appropriate use of Mirum’s therapies. The RAM combines strong clinical knowledge with commercial excellence to build trusted customer relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver sustainable business growth.

Working collaboratively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Compliance and other cross-functional partners, the RAM translates customer insights into effective account strategies while ensuring all activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory and company requirements.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute territory account plans aligned with national commercial objectives.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Deliver high-quality scientific and product discussions that support appropriate patient care.
  • Identify customer needs and align Mirum resources and solutions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Continuously assess territory opportunities using customer insights, market intelligence and business data.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer engagement.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of disease states, treatment landscape and Mirum’s products.
  • Demonstrate accountability for territory performance while consistently operating in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative 'One Mirum' culture by sharing best practices and supporting team success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • 10+ years of business experience in healthcare or biotech industry in RAM roles
  • Significant experience in Regional Market access
  • Successful biotech/pharma product launch experience in rare or niche markets with a documented track record of exceeding goals in competitive markets. Experience in Liver diseases will be an important plus
  • Bachelor’s in science degree or higher
  • Existing relationships within GI, hepatology or related specialty areas preferred.
  • Experience working with hospitals, academic centres and multidisciplinary care teams preferred.
  • Experience in liver and / or rare diseases is an important tplus.
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement and account planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Commitment to compliance and ethical business practices.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80%, including overnight travel.
  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).

The base salary range for this position is EUR 87,000 to EUR 97,000. Starting compensation within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic work location. Compensation is provided in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees of companies in the Pharmaceutical chemicals sector (the "NCBA"), as applicable. The salary range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits unless otherwise stated.
