About Pivotal Health

Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.

Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, they’re often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.

Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement they’re entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams.

Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. We’re building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.

About the Role

We're looking for a Pro Forma Analyst to become the second owner of Pivotal's pro forma model — the financial model that estimates client revenue from IDR and sets Pivotal's fee on every deal. Deal volume is growing fast, and we're scaling the team ahead of it — bringing on a second owner now to keep turnaround rock-solid as we grow.

This role means direct ownership of a queue that drives real revenue decisions on live deals, hands-on training from the model's original architect, and room to grow into a more strategic ownership role over time.

What You'll Do

  • Learn Pivotal's pro forma model and methodology hands-on from the model's original architect.

  • Develop a strong understanding of IDR economics and Pivotal’s business model.good to

  • Own the pro forma request queue at a 1–2 day turnaround per deal, helping it scale as volume grows.

  • Partner closely with Sales, and over time Customer Success, on live deal requests.

  • Grow into a more strategic role in how the model evolves over time.

Who You Are

  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, with experience in deal sizing or pricing desk work.

  • 2+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Finance, Strategy, Consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical role.

  • You naturally care about attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Comfortable working in close, daily contact with Sales on live deals.

  • Calm under volume; you don't rattle when the queue backs up.

  • Reserved but firm — you hold your own with sales without needing to be the loudest voice in the room.

Extra Credit if you have:

  • Rev ops or B2B SaaS sales-cycle background.

  • Enterprise experience.

  • Consulting background — a different flavor of analytical rigor that complements our existing pricing-desk experience.

  • Startup or ambiguous-environment experience.

  • Healthcare exposure — nice to have, not required.

  • SQL or BI tools familiarity a plus, though less critical given our AI tooling.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubs–Los Angeles and New York–we remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description.

If you’re excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive compensation, including equity

  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Retirement savings plan through 401(k)

  • Flexible time off

  • Opportunities for company-wide connection and events

Ready to Make an Impact?
We’re building something meaningful; and we want you on the team.

Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and let’s transform healthcare reimbursement together.
