About the Job

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC-headquartered FinTech company building the payment layer for life’s financial obligations—giving households one place to see, split, and pay their bills around how they live and get paid. By giving people greater choice over how and when they pay, and helping eligible on-time payments build a positive credit history, Flex puts households back in control of their cash flow.

Building on our roots in rent, we’re expanding into a broader consumer bill management platform that helps people manage essential spend and align payments with their finances. Our Consumer engineering team within the New Verticals division is at the forefront of this expansion, building a new business line within Flex. We’re looking for motivated leaders who thrive in ambiguity, turn new ideas into products, and help shape how millions of people manage their financial lives.About the Role

You will own multiple workstreams that tie directly to critical business KPIs. You will work closely with product managers to drive delivery of their workstreams with your team of highly adaptable, AI-enabled engineers who reside in the Consumer organization but range across the entire Flex system as necessary.

You will serve as a key technical partner to Product, business leadership, and cross-functional teams (such as Lifecycle Marketing (LCM), Legal & Compliance, and Risk) to drive outcomes across your workstreams. You will also represent Consumer engineering and New Verticals in Flex-wide architecture and quality initiatives, ensuring we build solutions that scale across Flex as a whole.
