You'll own the revenue and Annual Revenue Run Rate (ARRR) models that power Everlaw’s top-line forecasting, bringing clarity and speed to our business planning and operating visibility. Sitting at the intersection of FP&A, GTM, Accounting, and Enterprise Technology, you will turn complex customer and contract data into clear financial models, variance analyses, and actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the company.
This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.
Build, refine, and automate Everlaw’s revenue and ARRR forecasting models to improve accuracy, scalability, and recurring reporting workflows.
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on ARRR, expansions, renewals, churn, customer cohorts, and key revenue metrics.
Analyze actual financial results against forecasts and plans, investigating material variances to their root causes and explaining key drivers to leadership.
Partner with Accounting, RevOps, and Enterprise Technology to reconcile revenue data, validate inputs, and strengthen underlying data structures and controls.
Support annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and executive and Board reporting with well-documented assumptions and timely financial materials.
You have at least 3 years of experience in FP&A, revenue finance, or financial analysis, ideally supporting revenue planning or recurring-revenue metrics in a SaaS environment.
You bring advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, with a focus on building transparent, automated, and easy-to-maintain models.
You are an analytical problem solver who can navigate complex customer and contract data, investigate data issues, and reconcile disparate data sources.
You communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance business partners.
You thrive in cross-functional environments, managing multiple priorities and recurring deadlines with incomplete or evolving information.
You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring U.S. employment visas for this role.
Experience with ARR or ARRR reporting, SaaS metrics, or revenue recognition concepts.
Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning), ERPs (NetSuite), CRMs (Salesforce), or BI and data warehouse platforms (Looker, Tableau, Snowflake).
Working knowledge of SQL or data-querying tools.
The Finance team helps steward a strong business through its next stage of sustainable growth. Across accounting, planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement, controls, and financial systems, the team turns complex information into clear insights, dependable processes, and disciplined decisions. This work gives Everlaw the structure and confidence to invest thoughtfully, manage its resources responsibly, and scale without compromising what makes the company special.
