About the job

As a Product Manager you will help scale Twilio’s core identity product delivering secure, developer-first identity experiences. You’ll build products that power authentication, authorization, and emerging agentic and non-human identity use cases. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering leadership to design and deliver high-impact customer-facing features. This is a rare chance to operate like a startup within Twilio: you’ll work in a high-ownership environment with startup speed, backed by Twilio’s reach and scale.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design product capabilities for Identity platform on Twilio—building new products that help our customers’ secure their applications for both agentic and human identity use cases.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction, translate customer needs into product capabilities, and build the roadmap to deliver on these capabilities.
  • Collaborate across Twilio teams to align on product direction and unblock cross-team initiatives.
  • Operate with deep product ownership: author PRFAQs, product requirement docs, collaborate closely with engineering and design to bring these ideas to life, and enable our go-to-market teams to help our customs solve their challenges leveraging our products.
  • Build in ambiguity—break down complex problems, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and design developer experiences that delight our customers.
  • Be the voice of the customer in every conversation and decision, and ensure we build world class products that our customers value.

  • 5+ years experience in product management or 2+ years in product management and 3+ years in an engineering role
  • Experience in building deeply technical products and/or products for developers.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding.

Compensation

*Please note the salary range information provided applies only to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State due to local requirements. Compensation for candidates in other locations will be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that hiring for this role is not restricted to the locations listed above.

  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $128,560 (Developing Minimum for Tier 3) - $160,700(Mid for Tier 3).
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $136,000 (Developing Minimum for Tier 2) - $170,000 (Mid for Tier 2).
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $151,120 (Developing Minimum for Tier 1) - $188,900 (Mid for Tier 1).
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
