About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and improve the subscription experience across Strava. In this role, you will shape and run our conversion and monetization strategy, running fast-paced experiments to increase subscriber growth and retention. You will own the strategy for how users discover and experience Strava's full value, working closely with engineering, design, data, research, and marketing to understand the holistic journey and improve it.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half of your time on-site in our San Francisco office—roughly three days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Own the subscription strategy and roadmap to increase free-to-paid conversion and long-term subscriber retention.

  • Design and drive rigorous experiments that help us understand and learn about what drives purchase decisions across the full funnel – from pricing and packaging to messaging and value prop positioning.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, analytics, research, and marketing to deliver high-quality experiences.

  • Track and own core subscription health metrics—including conversion rates, churn, renewals, and lifetime value.

  • Communicate experimentation strategy, performance and trade-offs to product peers and leadership

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years of experience managing global subscription products, conversion funnels, or driving growth in consumer software.

  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience with experimentation and A/B testing and evaluating results (e.g. conversion rate, trial-to-paid, plan mix shift, LTV)

  • A calm, adaptable operator who thrives amidst rapid change, bringing clarity and focus to a fast-paced environment.

  • Action-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize work and solve complex problems, balancing a high quality user experience with revenue impact.

  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across product, engineering, data, design, research, marketing, and leadership teams.
