ERGO NEXT's mission is to help entrepreneurs thrive. We’re doing that by building the only technology-led, full-stack provider of small business insurance in the industry, taking on the entire value chain and transforming the customer experience.

Simply put, wherever you find small businesses, you’ll find ERGO NEXT.

Since 2016, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of small business customers across the United States get fast, customized and affordable coverage. We’re backed by industry leaders in insurance and tech, and we still have room to grow — that’s where you come in.

We are looking for an exceptional go-getter to join ERGO NEXT as Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the full journey for express agents — from activation through long-term retention.

In this role, you'll build and optimize the programs that turn newly appointed express agents into high-producing advocates for our business insurance products. You will combine deep customer knowledge with rigorous data analysis — and increasingly, AI-powered tools for segmentation, content generation, and predictive triggers — to design communications and experiences that move express agents through key milestones, reduce churn, and grow LTV.

This is a high-impact role with significant cross-functional collaboration, sitting at the intersection of marketing, product, data, and engineering. You'll be expected to bring an AI-forward mindset — using AI to accelerate campaign development, personalize at scale, and surface insights faster than traditional methods allow.

What You’ll Do:

Conversion and Activation

  • Design and launch onboarding journeys to educate and motivate newly appointed agents to activate with high velocity: first portal visit, first quote, and first purchase — fast
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, territory managers, and other areas of marketing to drive conversion

Retention

  • Build trust and celebrate milestones to foster customer relationship and loyalty
  • Leverage incentives to increase production and prevent at-risk agents from churning
  • Design winback programs to re-activate lapsed agents

Execution and Analytics

  • Build and deploy automated programs, triggered engagements, and blast campaigns across channels of email, SMS, and direct mail
  • Design and run experiments to drive incremental lifts and gain insights
  • Analyze engagement and performance metrics using Bloomreach and Tableau to measure success and identify trends and opportunities

What We Need:

  • Audacious thinker who can bring big ideas to the table
  • Have an AI mindset and aptitude to scale, drive efficiency and impact
  • Self-starter who loves to build and moves with high velocity
  • 7+ yrs of lifecycle marketing experience including lead conversion, retention, and winback
  • 3+ yrs of hands-on execution and deployment experience with a marketing platform (Iterable, Braze, Bloomreach, SFMC, etc)
  • Veteran of designing and running experiments
  • Strong analytical skills to measure impact, lift, and attribution
  • Has worked in dynamic and fast-paced environments while wearing multiple hats
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills, adept at seamlessly managing multiple project

Unstoppable Qualities:

  • Super driven and self-motivated
  • Extreme ownership
  • Proactive and independent thinker (ideas)
  • Strong communication skills
