Job Title: Sr. Product Manager
Team: Product
Employment Type: Fulltime, Salary, Exempt
Reports To: SVP of Product & Technology
You'll own a piece of the biggest infrastructure opportunity in automotive.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core surface of Plug's platform end-to-end. You will report to the SVP of Product and Technology.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You will own your surface end-to-end, paired closely with an engineer, operating with high agency. You form a hypothesis, run the test, and come back with a result. You will not wait on a committee or a process. Most of the value you create will come from how fast and how rigorously you learn.
You will be stepping into a small, talented team with real momentum and a platform built exclusively for EVs. This is a foundational role - you'll have real latitude to shape how the product works.
Own an end-to-end product surface, from user-facing experience through to the metrics that define success, and continuously drive improvement.
Design and run A/B tests and post-hoc analysis independently - using session replays, customer discovery, and data - without needing to pull in engineering for every experiment.
Partner closely with engineering, translating complex requirements into clear specs and a clean user experience.
Partner across functions (marketing, ML, sales, operations, finance, as relevant to the surface) so the product reflects real user needs and business goals.
Build reliable, scalable systems that internal and external stakeholders can trust.
Define and own the metrics that matter for your surface, and report on them clearly.
5+ years in product management, with a track record of owning and measurably improving a product surface or conversion funnel.
Deep fluency in experimentation: you design tests, own the analysis, and ship decisions fast, with the data to back them.
Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, engineering, design and other functions, with a keen eye for user experience.
Hands-on, shipped experience building with AI tools. As part of the process, we will ask you to show us something you have built.
Builder mentality: you act, you do not just plan, and you are energized by broad ownership in an environment where roles are fluid and the lines between product, engineering, and design are blurring.
Strong communication skills, able to write clearly and influence cross-functionally.
Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Prior experience in automotive, EV, marketplace, or fintech systems is a plus.
Experience with two-sided marketplaces or high-volume transactional funnels, owning both supply and demand sides.
You use AI daily in your product craft and are expanding your capabilities with AI tools.
Strong track record in B2B SaaS working directly with enterprise or OEM partners, where the customer relationship drove the value you created.
Platform and API product fluency, including designing and exposing internal APIs to external partners.
Annual salary: $180,000 - $200,000
Benefits & Perks:
Health, Vision, and Dental insurance
401(k) plan
Daily lunch stipend
Equity (based on role and performance)
Unlimited PTO
Fully stocked kitchen
Dog-friendly office
30-day remote work from anywhere policy
Ongoing opportunities for growth and development
