About Pinterest:

Pinterest is uniquely positioned across the full consumer journey, from inspiration and discovery through consideration, planning, and action. Creators bring ideas to life, Pinners signal emerging interests and intent, and advertisers help people act on what inspires them. This role will help build the data foundation on which Pinterest measures its flywheel, helping advertisers understand how their ads, creator activations and organic activity contribute to performance and business outcomes. The output of this work will be highly impactful, influencing advertiser investment, ad opportunities, and Pinterest’s differentiation in the ads measurement ecosystem. This is a foundational mission critical role that will directly influence the future success of Pinterest’s Ad Strategy.

The ideal candidate is a Principal PM leader with proven ability to drive data and signal quality for an ads measurement and performance stack. They have expertise and deep understanding of data and signal quality challenges and how to drive privacy safe data ingestion and collaboration capabilities across CAPI, Tag, Pixel, MMPs, DCR and other data sources. They have worked cross-functionally with engineering, data science, research, PMM, sales, and other partners and can translate complex measurement methods into credible, useful, and scalable products.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the vision, building and execution of Pinterest’s Data and Signal ingestion and connectivity strategy to drive its Ads Measurement and Performance success.
  • Own integration into the Pinterest ad stack and partner with ads quality, offsite and business platform teams to maximize signal utility.
  • Define the multi-year roadmap and drive execution to ingest and build high quality and expanded signal via partners - MMPs, data providers, RMNs, advertisers and agencies etc.
  • Own and design appropriate pathways to expand signal coverage through CAPI, server-to-server integrations, Tag, APIs, MMPs, clean rooms (DCR), and offline data uploads
  • Establish the operating model and OKRs that connect signal health to advertiser trust, measurement credibility, ad performance, and Pinterest’s broader ads strategy.
  • Leverage buy/build/partner approaches to move with speed.
  • Partner with engineering, DS, PMM and Ads product leaders to ensure signals are accurately ingested and leveraged in the Pinterest Ad Stack.
  • Represent Pinterest’s point of view on industry shifts—including browsers, cookies, MMPs, signal loss, and privacy regulation—and translate them into strategic product bets.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience working as a Product Manager or in a related role, including 5–7+ years of substantial ads data/signals or marketing measurement experience.
  • Deep understanding of the data and signals ecosystem and how to ensure and improve data signal quality in an ad stack to drive measurement and performance. Areas of experience include privacy-safe measurement, MMPs, CAPI, Tag, Pixel, clean rooms and data partners.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, research, or PMM cross-functional teams.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to define new products and strategies in an ambiguous space and to execute from ideation and multi-quarter roadmaps through go-to-market and adoption.
  • Strong ability to empathize with, anticipate the needs of, and effectively collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including advertisers, creators, Pinners, and internal partners.
  • Deep understanding of business metrics and tradeoffs in the context of online platforms or multi-sided ecosystems.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with social, video, commerce, or organic-and-paid measurement.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience building advertiser-facing measurement products or working with advertisers and agencies.
