About the Role :

The Security Engineer is responsible for running and improving key security engineering and security operations capabilities, including vulnerability management, detection and monitoring platforms, hardening initiatives, and security automation. This is a hands-on role spanning Panther, Wazuh, RapidFort, hardened images, PCI scanning, egress alerting, backup automation, playbook development, and AI-assisted security workflows, with close partnership across engineering, infrastructure, and compliance functions.

We are looking for a security engineer who is passionate about cybersecurity and enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment, and who has a strong desire to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Security monitoring and detection engineering
  • Vulnerability management and remediation coordination
  • Security tooling administration and improvement
  • Platform and image hardening initiatives
  • Compliance-supporting security controls
  • Security automation, playbooks, and operational readiness

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree
  • 8-11 years of experience in security domain
  • Strong hands-on automation skills(BASH, Python);Practical expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering and operations;
