The Strategy and Operations Manager will play a central role in evaluating strategic initiatives, supporting the performance tracking process, and conducting industry research and benchmarking to inform decision-making across the company. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this person will partner closely with finance, product, and operations teams to translate data and market insight into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
Strategic initiatives
Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives to ensure financial discipline, owners, and success metrics are clearly defined and tracked.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and strategic priorities.
Benchmark Brigit's product, financial, and operational metrics against industry and fintech peers.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to track progress against key initiatives and surface risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
Assess Financial model Impact of new initiatives and determine the appropriate KPI to track the performance.
Support quarterly and annual planning processes, including OKR/goal setting, prioritization discussions, and follow-up tracking.
Board & Executive Materials
Support the leadership in preparing Board of Directors materials, including business updates, product roadmaps, key metrics, and strategic initiative progress.
Help create clear, concise narratives and visualizations that communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to Board members and other senior stakeholders.
Coordinate inputs from finance, product, data, and operations to ensure materials are accurate, complete, and aligned with company strategy.
Monthly Business Review Tracking Dashboards and Reports
Assist in the preparation of materials used for public reporting, including investor updates and external presentations.
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with finance, operations, and other internal teams to provide additional bandwidth on high-priority workflows, process improvements, and special projects.
4–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, investment banking, or a similarly analytical, execution-oriented role (high-growth tech or fintech experience a plus).
Strong analytical skills; highly comfortable working with data, building models, and translating analysis into clear insights and recommendations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to create executive-ready slides and narratives.
Highly organized with strong project management abilities; able to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Low-ego, high-ownership mindset – willing to dive into details while keeping sight of the bigger strategic picture.
Comfortable working closely with senior leaders, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
Passion for Brigit’s mission and interest in fintech, financial health, and consumer products.
This is a full-time role which will operate out of Brigit’s New York office, with the option to work remotely 1-2x per week, based on business needs.
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $145,000 - $180,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible (other benefits listed below). The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
