The Supply Chain Engineer supports Standard Nuclear’s manufacturing and engineering organizations by translating technical requirements into executable sourcing, material planning, and logistics strategies. This role identifies qualified vendors, components, materials, and equipment that meet engineering specifications while ensuring cost, quality, lead time, and delivery requirements are understood and managed.
This is a hands-on cross-functional role that works closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and suppliers to maintain accurate bills of materials, resolve supply constraints, improve delivery performance, and build scalable supply chain processes. The Supply Chain Engineer combines technical understanding with supplier management and operational execution to support reliable production and continued growth.

This role is based in Oak Ridge, TN and involves work across office, warehouse, manufacturing, and supplier-facing environments. The position requires regular interaction with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, project teams, and external suppliers. Work may include time in production or material-handling areas and occasional travel to suppliers or logistics partners. Use of required PPE and adherence to site safety, quality, security, and operational procedures is expected.
