From the original posting
Wonderful is looking for a hands-on, commercially driven APAC Marketing Lead to build and scale our marketing engine across the region.
This is a leadership role, but equally a builder role. You’ll lead a team of seven regional marketers across APAC while staying close to execution, local GTM teams and the programmes that drive awareness, engagement and pipeline.
You’ll own the APAC marketing strategy, balancing regional consistency with local-market depth. Working closely with APAC leadership and local GMs/MDs, you’ll translate business priorities and Must-Win accounts into focused marketing plans that deliver measurable commercial impact.
Own the APAC marketing strategy, priorities, budget and performance.
Lead and develop a team of seven regional marketers across key APAC markets.
Build a high-performing team with clear goals, accountability and strong execution.
Act as the senior Marketing business partner to APAC leadership and local GMs/MDs.
Work closely with Central Marketing functions to ensure regional programmes benefit from global scale while remaining locally relevant.
Develop scalable, repeatable programmes that drive Must-Win account engagement, new contacts, pipeline creation and acceleration.
Balance locally owned programmes with larger APAC and global initiatives.
Measure activity against commercial outcomes, not simply event or lead volume.
Turn successful regional initiatives into repeatable playbooks that can scale across markets.
Build a strong Partner Marketing motion, working closely with Global Partnerships to leverage strategic partners and programmes across the region.
Build a strategic APAC event portfolio across owned events, industry events, executive programmes and partner activations.
Ensure programmes are designed around priority accounts, personas and measurable business outcomes.
Develop high-value executive engagement programmes across APAC.
Partner with Global Field Marketing on major Tier 1 events and sponsorships.
Work closely with Product Marketing, PR & Communications, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing and Digital to create integrated regional plans.
Build strong relationships with hyperscalers and strategic partners to amplify regional activity.
Adapt global messaging and campaigns for local markets, cultures and audiences.
Champion a local-by-design approach while maintaining a consistent Wonderful brand.
An experienced APAC Marketing leader with a strong B2B enterprise technology background.
Proven experience leading distributed Marketing teams across multiple APAC markets.
Deep understanding of the APAC enterprise landscape and the differences across markets including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.
Commercially minded, with strong experience across demand generation, ABM, field marketing and pipeline acceleration.
A strong business partner who can work in lockstep with Sales/GTM leadership.
Experienced in executive engagement, strategic events and partner/hyperscaler marketing.
A builder who remains hands-on, comfortable setting the strategy and then rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.
Comfortable operating at speed, making decisions with imperfect information and building structure as the company scales.
A strong communicator and relationship builder who can operate effectively across cultures, markets and time zones.
