Location and Working Hours
This role is based in the APJ region and requires substantial daily overlap with APJ business hours. The Territory Operations team works asynchronously across regions, so comfort with written handoffs and documentation is more important than real-time availability outside your local hours.
About the Role
This is an early-career role designed for someone with foundational operations, analytics, or CRM experience who wants to build depth in sales systems and territory management. You will learn our territory carving and account routing processes from the ground up, with structured onboarding, a defined ramp plan, and close support from the broader Territory Operations team. Prior territory operations experience is not required — curiosity, care with data, and clear communication matter more.
Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional annual planning activities related to territory carving and deployment in Salesforce for the APJ region, with guidance from senior team members
- Help maintain and document territory operations processes, including runbooks and onboarding materials for APJ stakeholders
- Respond to account routing questions from the APJ field, escalating complex or ambiguous cases to senior analysts
- Support recurring territory reporting and ad hoc analysis requests for APJ sales leadership
- Partner with APJ Field Sales, Sales Operations, and Revenue Strategy to understand regional coverage needs and surface opportunities to improve territory processes and tools
- Assist the Sales Systems team on automation improvements enabled by territory management (such as automated opportunity assignment)
- Support data hygiene and enrichment for APJ accounts using tools such as RingLead, ZoomInfo, D&B, and Openprise, including validating account data across multiple APJ countries and markets
- Document questions, edge cases, and process gaps encountered in day-to-day work so they can be addressed systematically
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in an operations, analytics, business support, or CRM-adjacent role — sales operations experience is welcome but not required
- Based in the APJ region, or able to maintain consistent overlap with APJ business hours
- Working familiarity with Salesforce (navigating records, reports, and list views); exposure to Salesforce Sales Territories, Salesforce Maps, or similar tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets — sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and pivot tables; advanced modeling is not expected
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to working with data
- Clear and concise written communication, particularly in asynchronous settings across time zones
- Collaborative and comfortable asking questions; you will be supported, not left to figure things out alone
- Interest in learning sales operations systems and processes in a fast-paced, distributed environment
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple APJ countries or working with multilingual account data
- Exposure to data enrichment or data quality tools (RingLead, ZoomInfo, D&B, Openprise, or similar)
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Salesforce Administrator certification or coursework in progress
