Quick facts
From the original posting
Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.
As UK B2B Lead, you will design and run Neko's first B2B sales strategy & programme, starting in Birmingham and Manchester before expanding to London. This is a build-and-prove role: you will establish our go-to-market approach for corporate clients, run B2B experiments to define the proposition, generate Neko’s first employer deals, and lay the commercial and operational foundations for B2B as a major growth channel alongside our B2C business.
You will work directly with the UK Country Manager and have executive sponsorship from the leadership team. Working alongside the City Marketing Leads, you will ensure B2B and B2C activity are coordinated on the ground in each city.
Your goal as the first B2B hire for Neko is to generate incremental bookings and build the B2B playbook that will be used for Neko’s broader B2B global strategy and new city activation.
Build a targeted prospect list of companies across Birmingham and Manchester, covering SMB- businesses, hub offices of London-HQ firms, and premium health check buyers
Run outreach and activation, focusing on conversion to booking sales while validating key hypotheses that will inform broader B2B proposition
Convert at least 2-4 employer deals, with a healthy pipeline of late-stage deals
Initiate conversations with key benefit platforms and assess the commercial case for integration
Deliver a clear hypothesis readout at Week 8: which employer segments respond, which channels work, whether price holds, and what non-price levers close deals
Scale the programme into London, applying learnings from Birmingham and Manchester to a larger and more competitive market
Own a growing pipeline of employer accounts and deepen relationships with early clients to secure renewals and case studies
Build and refine the B2B city activation playbook - the repeatable framework Neko will use to launch B2B in every new market
Work with marketing and product to develop the employer proposition: pricing, packaging, add-ons, and the operational mechanics of group bookings.
Partner with the City Marketing Leads to coordinate B2B events and activations that drive awareness, education and conversion with B2B clients (and serve B2C objectives)
10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a track record of closing deals and building pipelines from scratch
Experience selling into HR, People, or C-suite decision-makers at SMB and enterprise companies - ideally across professional services, tech, or finance
Comfortable running a full sales cycle independently: prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, and close
Existing network in the Birmingham and/or Manchester business community is a strong advantage
Commercially sharp - you understand unit economics, can defend pricing, and know when (and when not) to negotiate
Organised and data-driven, with the ability to track a pipeline, report on performance, and draw clear learnings from early experiments
Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where the playbook does not yet exist - you will be writing it
A genuine interest in preventive health and employee wellness; able to speak credibly about the value of proactive health investment to business leaders
