Brokerage Communications Specialist

The Brokerage Communications Operations team’s mission is to ensure our customers receive clear, compliant, and timely information about their accounts and financial services. We collaborate across Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering to plan, build, and execute various mass customer communications. As a Brokerage Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of regulatory customer communications for the broker-dealer and affiliated entities — including Trump Accounts, one of the newest and most nationally visible programs in our product lineup. You will own the day-to-day execution of communications for this work — planning, drafting, routing for approval, and validating delivery — while partnering with senior leadership, who hold the primary relationships with our external government and program partners, to ensure communications reflect their guidance and requirements. You'll have direct exposure to those conversations and help translate external input into compliant, customer-ready messaging. In this role, you will collaborate with Operations, Product, Senior Leadership, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure all Trump Accounts and Robinhood messaging is precise and compliant. Additionally, you will participate in our 24/7 on-call rotation, responding quickly to critical operational events and drafting urgent communications. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Brokerage and Clearing Communications within our Market Operations org, and offers rare, ground-floor exposure to a program with national visibility — building trust and transparency with millions of customers along the way!

This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Lake Mary, FL, and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of regulatory mass customer communication campaigns, including defining project scopes, timelines, and communications schedules, and drafting clear customer notices.
• Participate in the team's 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to operational incidents, drafting urgent customer-facing messaging, and coordinating key communications with leadership.
• Validate the successful delivery of required customer communications using data and reporting tools to ensure regulatory compliance for trade confirmations, statements, and disclosures.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized delivery evidence to support audits, exams, and regulatory reviews.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Senior Leadership, and other departments to manage competing priorities across daily operational communications and concurrent regulatory projects.

What you bring

• Hold Series 7 and Series 24 licenses, and bring 3+ years of experience in a financial services operations and regulatory compliance environment.
• Demonstrate exceptionally polished written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear regulatory notices and present updates to senior leadership.
• Show strong project coordination and self-starter skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent timelines and adapt to changing regulatory deadlines.
• Feel comfortable working with structured data and AI-powered tools to pull, analyze, and reconcile datasets across operational systems.
• Display high attention to detail, a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements, highly collaborative and strong relationship management skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
