About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

Ramp partners with football clubs to introduce relevant businesses to Ramp and create measurable commercial value for both organisations.

As the UK Football Channel Partner Manager, you will nurture and grow Ramp’s existing UK football-club partnerships. You will work with each club to activate the partnership assets we have agreed—including business-community activations, hospitality, warm introductions, campaigns, and follow-up—and ensure each partnership generates qualified sales opportunities for Ramp.

You will work closely with club commercial and partnership teams, alongside Ramp’s Sales, Marketing, Events, Product, and Engineering teams. Championship partnerships will focus on building repeatable, club-sourced pipeline from UK small and medium-sized businesses. Premier League partnerships will focus on senior executive relationships, curated hospitality, strategic introductions, and enterprise pipeline influence.

This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role for someone who combines strong partner management with excellent commercial judgement and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the activation and commercial performance of Ramp’s current UK football-club partnerships.

  • Build intentional, club-specific commercial plans using agreed partnership assets. Plans may include target-account lists, events, campaigns, warm-introduction routes, and clear success measures.

  • Partner with club commercial teams to identify and engage relevant local businesses, corporate partners, suppliers, business-club members, owners, and finance leaders.

  • Plan and deliver matchday hospitality, executive dinners, business-networking events, and other activations that create high-quality meetings and introductions for Ramp.

  • Lead club-led outreach and campaigns, ensuring audiences are relevant, appropriately permissioned, and measurable.

  • Coordinate introductions and follow-up with Ramp’s Sales team so club activity becomes meaningful sales opportunities.

  • Track performance from club activity through qualified lead, accepted meeting, application, and activated customer.

  • Run regular partner operating reviews and quarterly business reviews; use results to improve activation plans and hold teams accountable to agreed commitments.

  • Coordinate internal teams across Marketing, Growth, Sales, Events, Product, and Engineering to support club activations and customer onboarding.

  • Build a deep understanding of Ramp’s products, customer value, and workflows so you can represent Ramp credibly with club partners and prospects.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in partnerships, business development, partner sales, account management, or commercial strategy.

  • A track record of building trusted senior relationships and delivering measurable commercial results through partners.

  • Strong event, hospitality, campaign, and go-to-market execution skills.

  • Excellent judgement when identifying high-quality prospects, shaping warm introductions, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

  • Comfort using performance data to improve plans, report results, and manage to goals.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.

  • A highly collaborative working style and the ability to work effectively across teams.

  • The ability to manage stakeholders across different functions and keep complex activity moving.

  • UK-based, with flexibility to travel more than 60% of the time and to support evening and weekend matchday and event commitments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with UK football clubs, sports properties, business communities, sponsorships, or commercial partnerships.

  • Experience creating B2B pipeline through events, hospitality, account-based campaigns, or partner networks.

  • Familiarity with the UK small and medium-sized business market and finance-leader audience.

  • Understanding of sports business, media, branding, or investing.

What Success Looks Like

  • Every football-club partnership has a clear commercial plan covering agreed activity, target audiences, goals, and measures of success.

  • Each activation has a named owner at Ramp and at the club who is accountable for delivery.

  • Club activity consistently creates qualified leads and sales opportunities for Ramp.

  • Ramp and club teams work seamlessly to deliver events, campaigns, introductions, and follow-up.

  • You can clearly show what is working at each club, where gaps exist, and what should change to improve performance.
