From the original posting
Our mission is to make a world where everyone has access to delivery. Where goods move as freely as information moves today.
This is possible. Today the cost of moving on a scooter is ₹2/km. That’s the cost of moving a 150kg mass from point A to B. We’re bringing that mass down to less than 5kgs, concurrently bringing the cost down to 10 paise/km. This is how we make deliveries a reality. This is how we create a world where we’re doing billions of deliveries per day.
The tech is not there. The current cost of drone delivery is ₹100/km. We need to completely redefine the way things are done here. We’re building the world’s most efficient aircraft from the ground-up, and scaling that up to beyond anything the aerospace sector has ever seen. This cannot be an iterative process. We have to tear down all conventions and build everything up from scratch.
To do this, we need nothing less than the best engineers. The ones who care about building something fundamentally different, who are deeply curious about understanding the fundamentals of everything they’re working on, who are dreamers that believe in the impossible.
We are building something that hasn’t existed before. This role shapes how the world sees it. You’ll work directly with the Marketing Lead and own visual execution across product launches, campaigns, social, events, and employer brand. You’re a hands-on designer with a storytelling instinct. You know how to take something technical and make it striking without flattening it.
Design and visual storytelling Create captivating, on-brand visuals across formats. Product launches, flight demos, advertising campaigns, social media, event collateral, presentations, and new initiatives across the Airbound ecosystem. Turn engineering milestones into visuals people stop for.
Craft across media Adapt work to whatever the medium demands — print, digital, motion, or something we haven’t tried yet. Own the details of production, including familiarity with print processes and techniques.
Presentations Design internal and external-facing decks, whether to pitch your own ideas or to communicate with customers, partners, and investors.
Collaboration Work across functions and external vendors to deliver creatives that are on brief. Communicate WIP through prototypes, references, and moodboards until it’s refined. Pitch work at any stage and defend your choices with clear rationale.
Brand stewardship Play within the constraints of the Airbound brand language and challenge its limits when the work calls for it.
Minimum 4 years in communication design, branding, or graphic design.
Experience inside a startup, hardware company, or technical environment.
A keen understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and design principles.
Proficiency with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
Ability to manage your own output with minimal hand-holding and stay sharp when things move fast and the brief isn't fully formed.
Secondary skills like motion design, video editing, photography, videography, 3D, or creative coding.
Experience in B2B, deep tech, aerospace, or logistics.
You can talk to an engineer, understand what they built, and turn it into something a non-engineer finds compelling.
You have a storytelling instinct and take pride in craft.
A rigid template job. No production-line asset churn, no working in a silo, no waiting for a fully specced brief. The job is craft, ideas, and turning them into reality.
Comprehensive health insurance to keep you and your loved ones covered
Relocation assistance and a daily travel stipend to ease your commute
Advanced salary credit to support you when you need it
“A driven, passionate team where you’ll have room to grow and thrive - this is more than just a job, it’s a rare opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up”
In-office role, working alternate Saturdays.
