From the original posting

As a Customer Enablement Manager, you will partner with complex enterprise customers to transform how work gets done across their organizations. You will own a portfolio of strategic customers, providing a variety of enablement activities, including discovery, workflow consultation, change management, strategic enablement, and scalable education to accelerate adoption and measurable business outcomes.

You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Services to understand customer priorities, diagnose barriers to adoption, and recommend strategies that help organizations adopt new workflows and AI-enabled ways of working. As a senior individual contributor, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal partners, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and help shape repeatable approaches that strengthen Asana's broader Customer Enablement practice.

This role is West Coast based remote and is open to employees in Pacific or Mountain Standard time.

What you'll achieve

  • Strategic Trusted Advisory: Develop a deep understanding of customer business priorities, operating models, and ways of working. Lead discovery with complex stakeholders and translate customer challenges into clear recommendations for workflow, enablement, and adoption strategies that drive measurable business value.
  • Own Complex Customer Engagements: Independently manage complex enterprise engagements within your portfolio of strategic customers, from discovery and planning through delivery, measurement, and follow-through. Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and multi-stakeholder environments while keeping engagements aligned to customer and account outcomes.
  • Drive Workflow and AI Transformation: Help customers rethink how work gets done by translating Asana and AI capabilities into practical, scalable use cases. Guide customers through the people, process, and behavior change required to successfully adopt new ways of working.
  • Executive and High-Impact Facilitation: Design and facilitate workflow consultations, strategic workshops, enablement programs, and executive-level conversations for audiences ranging from end users and champions to senior leaders. Adapt your approach based on customer maturity, organizational complexity, and desired outcomes.
  • Measure and Optimize Customer Impact: Use adoption, engagement, and efficacy data to assess whether enablement is driving meaningful behavior change and business outcomes. Identify trends, adjust engagement strategies, and use insights to strengthen customer plans and CEM programs.
  • Strengthen Customer Partnerships and Commercial Outcomes: Identify risks, expansion opportunities, and new use cases through your customer engagements. Partner with account teams to connect adoption and enablement strategies to retention, expansion, and long-term customer value.

About you

  • 6+ years of experience in customer enablement, customer success, strategic consulting, implementation, change management, professional services, or a related customer-facing role, ideally within SaaS.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex enterprise customer engagements that combine discovery, consultation, facilitation, and enablement to drive adoption, behavior change, or business transformation.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to uncover root causes, synthesize complex information, challenge assumptions constructively, and translate ambiguity into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior and executive stakeholders, including navigating competing priorities and building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead strategic conversations and high-impact sessions for audiences ranging from practitioners to executives.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills, with a track record of independently managing multiple complex customer engagements and driving work forward without significant oversight.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how adoption, customer value, retention, expansion, and organizational change are connected.
  • Strong product and technical curiosity, with the ability to quickly develop expertise in new technology and translate AI and workflow capabilities into meaningful customer use cases.
  • Data-informed and outcomes-oriented, with experience using customer signals and metrics to evaluate impact, identify risks, and adjust strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and contribute to improvements in programs, processes, playbooks, or customer strategy beyond your own individual accounts.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment, exercising strong judgment, prioritization, and ownership.
  • Collaborative teammate who actively mentors others, shares expertise, and helps raise the quality and consistency of the broader team's work.
