We tackle the most critical and complex challenge in modern cybersecurity: stopping malicious actors and containing cyber threats before lateral movement turns an attack into a widespread business catastrophe.

As a product manager here, you will directly define, design, and drive the future of Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, and automated breach containment. You will work side-by-side with world-class engineers, strategic partners, and global enterprise customers to defend highly complex hybrid data centers and multi-cloud architectures.

Your Impact:

  • Define and own the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for advanced security workflows within the Insights platform.

  • Drive the product strategy for advanced threat detection and behavioral analysis capabilities tailored to modern security operations center (SOC) environments.

  • Partner closely with engineering leadership across multiple engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver capabilities through agile development cycles.

  • Collaborate directly with field teams, customers, and strategic partners to gather operational workflow requirements and validate product-market fit.

  • Develop the innovation roadmap for advanced analytical models and AI/ML-assisted features that streamline security investigation and triage.

  • Lead product planning for platform integrations with ecosystem tools, enabling security operations teams to seamlessly leverage Illumio capabilities within their existing workflows.

  • Own competitive positioning against market alternatives, partnering with Product Marketing to articulate Illumio’s unified value proposition.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, establishing strong PM practices as the organization scales.

Your Toolkit:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or closely related roles (engineering, sales engineering, technical pre-sales) in enterprise security or networking.

  • 5+ years of product management experience shipping analytics, detection, or workflow products in the network security or cybersecurity domain.

  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing product managers.

  • Deep domain expertise in network traffic analysis, security analytics, or detection and response – with a practitioner’s understanding of how SOC teams investigate and respond to network-based threats.

  • Track record of defining and delivering enterprise SaaS products that security practitioners use daily, with demonstrable outcomes in user adoption and customer retention.

  • Experience with data-intensive security products: flow analytics, behavioral detection, SIEM/SOAR integrations, or threat intelligence platforms.

  • Established practice of utilizing data and analytics to inform product decisions, including product usage telemetry, customer engagement metrics, and market research.

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels – setting multi-year vision while running sprint-level prioritization with engineering teams.
