Quick facts
From the original posting
We're looking for a Group Product Manager who understands that this role is not coordination — it's ownership. This is a player-coach role: you'll lead and develop the Product Managers who own Onchain Compliance, and you'll personally drive the most important initiatives in the portfolio. You're accountable for what your team ships and for the caliber of the PMs who ship it.
You'll own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for TRM's Onchain Compliance products, serving financial institutions, fintechs, crypto businesses, and regulators, and the outcomes your team delivers: adoption, retention, and ARR.
Leading: Hire, coach, and develop PMs. Give direct feedback, know each PM's growth areas, and step in early when a PM or project starts to slip.
Setting direction: Set the vision for onchain compliance and prioritize across your PMs. Define success and failure with real metrics.
Staying hands-on: Own a few critical initiatives yourself. Prototype, build AI agents, and ship alongside your team.
Closing: Build ongoing customer relationships and join strategic deals. Turn what you hear into roadmap unlocks.
Reporting and risk: Tell leadership how Onchain Compliance is doing, using real metrics. Call out risks early and unblock PMs before projects fail.
Core product skills
Product ownership: You own outcomes, not coordination. You've taken complex enterprise products from discovery through launch to measurable business impact.
AI-native execution: You already build agents and use AI to accelerate your work and your team's. You can demo it.
Bias for action: You make decisions with incomplete information and ship working solutions in days, not weeks.
Product taste: You know what great looks like, and you make opinionated calls on what to build, what to cut, and when to ship.
Leadership skills
People leadership: You've built and grown a team of PMs, not just inherited one. You can point to a PM whose performance changed because of something you did.
Vision and communication: You simplify complex ideas, align teams around what matters, and inspire others to build toward a shared vision.
Metrics-driven: You define success and failure with real metrics, report honestly on how things are going, and call out risks early.
Cross-team influence: You set expectations and unblock work with PMs and teams outside your own.
Commercial ownership: You build direct customer relationships, understand financial and regulatory workflows, and answer for adoption, retention, and revenue.
