From the original posting

About the role.

You will build out and own every automated customer journey at Halter in New Zealand, from the first welcome email and nurturing current leads, to winning back leads who have gone quiet or closed lost. Now in a more mature market, reengaging leads is the priority. Our sales teams have spoken with most farmers in NZ, you will build and run the strategy that brings them back excited about Halter and the future of their farm; making sure Sales picks them up at the right moment, with the right context.

This is a role for someone who loves data and insights - tackling challenges with an analytical mindset. You form hypotheses, test them rigorously, and turn what you learn into sharper flows and a stronger funnel. You will be supported by the wider NZ Marketing team - providing copy, farmer stories and imagery that lifts the needle, and partner closely with Product, Launch, Sales and Customer Support to deeply understand our prospects and customers.

What the role looks like:

  • Own all customer workflows. Welcome flows, lead nurture flows and, most importantly, reengaged lead flows. You plan, build, QA and launch them across our marketing stack, and keep them clean, documented and easy to share with the wider team.

  • Reengagement strategy and execution. You implement and run our reengagement strategy, from spotting dormant leads to bringing them back into the funnel.

  • Closing the loop with Sales. You follow every reengaged lead closely to make sure it is contacted promptly, with clear reasoning on why they came back and what to say next, and you fix any gaps in the handover between HubSpot and Salesforce.

  • Test and learn. You form hypotheses and run rigorous tests on messaging, timing, channels and triggers, then use the results to kill what isn't working and double down on what is.

  • Insights that strengthen the funnel. You regularly gather insights, build reporting that shows how each flow performs and where the funnel leaks, and feed this back to the team.

  • Strategic automations across the business. You work with Product and Launch on journeys for new features and releases, with Sales on lead stages and handover rules, and with Customer Support to turn customer insights into better automations.

Who we are looking for:

  • Highly analytical and data-driven. You default to the data over gut feel, and you are always hungry to form a hypothesis and test it properly.

  • Confident across HubSpot and Salesforce. You are hands-on with workflows, lists, properties and reporting, and understand how lead data and lead status move between platforms.

  • A rigorous tester. You have designed, run and read A/B tests, and you know how to set up a test so the result means something.

  • A detail-oriented builder. You build automations in a structured way, QA them carefully, and keep data clean.

  • Highly collaborative. You build strong relationships with Product, Launch, Sales and Customer Support, and can translate between technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experienced. 4+ years in lifecycle, CRM, email or marketing automation roles. Experience with reengagement programs, lead scoring or lead routing in a sales-led funnel is a bonus.

Our benefits.

  • Delicious snacks and drinks are available for your daily flow.

  • Healthy body, healthy mind. We're partnered with Southern Cross Health Insurance to support your well-being.

  • We offer 6 months of fully paid parental leave for primary caregivers, 4 weeks of fully paid secondary caregiver leave and many other parental benefits that support you and your family.

  • Our personal growth is important. Halter offers an annual $1000 self-development budget to be used for anything that fuels personal growth.

  • Our time to recharge is valued, we're offered wellness leave and unlimited paid annual leave.

Our Office First Approach.

Humans are wired for connection. Being office first is a core pillar of our culture because in-person connections drive your growth, learning, impact, and relationships. Strong relationships make it easier to disagree, give feedback, and do meaningful work together.

We're office first, not office only. Working from the office is our default, but we flex when needed. We have a high-trust culture where everyone is trusted to do what's best for Halter.

Our office vibe is special, the high energy and spectacular people make work enjoyable. Your growth and impact are unlimited here, coming from solving problems, innovating, and constantly learning from each other.

Why our team loves working at Halter:

  • Work that genuinely matters. Every now and again a company comes along that transforms an entire industry and leaves the world in a better place. Our team gets to be part of something truly meaningful, helping farmers improve their livelihoods, spend more time with their families, and build more sustainable operations.
