The Role

We’re hiring a PM to join our growing Life Sciences team as its second PM. You’ll own a product area end to end, working alongside our existing Life Sciences PM to shape and build products that create value for life sciences partners and health systems.

This is an early-stage opportunity with significant room to shape what we build. You’ll turn customer needs into a focused roadmap, lead discovery, and partner with engineering, ML, design, and clinical teams to bring new products to market. You’ll also work closely with business development and sales to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes.

The right person has built products for or within life sciences, brings strong product judgment, and can move from an ambiguous opportunity to a product customers use and pay for.

What You'll Do

  • Own a Life Sciences product area end to end. Define the customer problem, product direction, roadmap, and success measures for your area, in alignment with the broader Life Sciences strategy.

  • Shape the strategy. Prioritize opportunities, coordinate shared dependencies, and make tradeoffs across the portfolio.

  • Lead discovery with life sciences partners. Understand their workflows, data needs, buying processes, and willingness to pay. Translate what you learn into clear product decisions.

  • Build and ship new products. Work with engineering, ML, design, and clinical teams to define requirements, scope initial releases, and deliver useful, trustworthy experiences.

  • Turn early engagements into repeatable products. Distinguish customer-specific requests from needs shared across the market, and build capabilities that can serve multiple partners.

  • Connect product development to commercialization. Partner with business development and sales on pilot scope, product positioning, pricing inputs, and measures of customer value.

  • Build with privacy and trust at the center. Work with legal, clinical, and engineering teams to establish appropriate data use, evaluate constraints, and make decisions that protect patients and health system relationships.

  • Measure outcomes and iterate. Define how you’ll assess product quality, adoption, customer value, and business impact, then use evidence to improve the product.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent building products for or within life sciences. Pharma, biotech, medical device, or health data and analytics companies.

  • 0-to-1 experience. You’ve shipped new products.

  • Commercial fluency. You've worked closely with sales, partnerships, or BD on early-stage deals

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You're good at running discovery, forming hypotheses, and updating quickly when you're wrong.

  • Strong cross-functional credibility. You can talk to ML scientists about model outputs, to lawyers about data use agreements, and to a pharma VP about their clinical development pipeline.

  • Clear, direct communication. You write and speak well. You can take something complicated and make it simple without losing precision.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with real-world evidence, observational data, or clinical data platforms (e.g. Flatiron, Symphony Health, IQVIA).

  • Familiarity with how pharma companies structure and fund digital health partnerships or data licensing deals.

  • Prior work at the intersection of AI/ML and clinical data.

  • Experience with IRB considerations, HIPAA, or de-identification frameworks.

This role is a hybrid position and can be based out of our New York City office or San Francisco Office. It is 3-days in office, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are no exceptions to location requirement or in-office policy.
