Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

One of the key drivers to our success is an exceptional emphasis on our people. We believe our competitive advantage lies in our talent, and that we can build a sustainable advantage by enabling individuals and teams to contribute their full potential. Stripe is looking for a People Partner to drive that effort across our GTM organization — supporting GTM leaders and senior managers through scale, creating an environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive, and aligning our business strategy with our people strategy through data and first principles thinking.

What you’ll do

As a People Partner, you'll work alongside senior business leaders and managers to develop and deliver our people strategy, advance our company mission, and enable leaders to build high-impact, healthy teams that deliver outstanding results for Stripe users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic consultant to GTM leaders, helping them align their business and people strategies to drive organizational effectiveness and a strong employee experience
  • Advise and coach leaders on org design, change management, and key organizational initiatives — with a focus on efficiency, clear decision-making, and effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Use data, insights, and judgment to inform decisions on structure, programs, and org health; translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Partner with leaders on global talent and organizational planning — identifying critical talent, building for future business needs, and investing intentionally in team growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver people programs that advance Stripe's people strategy at scale
  • Champion a culture guided by our Operating Principles that elevates both the caliber and kindness of our teams

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an HR business partner, preferably with a mix of experience in fast-growing technology companies and more established organizations
  • Experience supporting functions within a go-to-market organization
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior leaders on people strategy and business outcomes
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to design clear processes and balance detail-orientation with flexibility
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence across diverse groups and seniority levels

Preferred qualifications

  • A strategist and scaler who connects where the business is going with how the organization needs to evolve to get there — you've navigated rapid headcount growth or a significant reorg before
  • A trusted partner who builds lasting relationships with managers and leaders by offering deep insight and helping them anticipate what's around the corner
  • A business-minded partner who deeply understands Stripe's strategy and translates it into organizational structures, initiatives, and processes
  • A collaborator who is energized by working alongside leaders to build the best possible teams and structures
  • A data-driven decision-maker whose recommendations are grounded in evidence, experience, and Stripe's operating principles
  • A coach and developer who is passionate about building high-impact teams and bringing out the best in the people around them
