About the Role:
As Senior Analytics Engineer - GTM, you’ll play a key role in helping our GTM team grow our business. You’ll report to the Director of Business Intelligence joining a centralized global team of analytics engineers and data engineers. Our team owns data pipelines for sales analytics such as headcount planning, quota attainment, and sales effectiveness. You’ll ensure that we have accurate data and a single source of truth for GTM and growth metrics. We’re looking for someone with deep domain expertise working with sales and GTM teams. You’ll combine that domain expertise with data skills in data analysis, building pipelines, and designing data models. We want someone who enjoys collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders and won’t rest until their business needs are met.
What You'll Do:
- Drive the GTM data roadmap to build scalable durable data products
- Build and maintain key data pipelines and marts that power core company-wide GTM metrics such as our headcount model, quota attainment, and pipeline.
- Build insightful and reliable dashboards to track performance of core metrics that will deliver insights to the whole company
- Collaborate with our GTM analyst teams to train and enable them on datasets and data tools
- Write excellent documentation and tutorials
- Work across the full-stack of analytics from ad-hoc analysis and reports to architecting pipelines
- Build semantic models and run evals to power AI tools that let sales operators query business data in natural language
- Use AI-assisted development tools to move fast while keeping code, models, and documentation clean and maintainable for both humans and machines
- Communicate complex data concepts clearly and persuasively through technical specs, dashboards, and presentations to align teams on metrics and definitions
Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in data engineering, data analytics, or analytics engineering
- Deep expertise in data modeling and data warehouse design
- Expert level SQL skills and experience with columnar analytics databases such as Snowflake and Bigquery
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce’s data model and other GTM systems
- Experience with DBT and GIT
- Experience with business intelligence tools - Direct Hex experience is a bonus
- Experience working with sales, sales operations, sales compensation, and finance teams
- Experience building with AI tooling for data such as semantic models, context management systems, and evals
- A meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to self-project manage work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable speaking with business executives and engineers alike and can translate between the two groups at the IC and senior stakeholder level
