We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead our new Maintenance and Fuel vertical and grow our design presence in Bangalore. This role is both hands-on and organizationally pivotal. You will lead a team of designers working within our growing Maintenance and Fuel vertical, delivering intuitive, scalable experiences across web and mobile platforms.

In parallel, you will serve as a local design leader for South Asia, supporting and mentoring designers across teams, many of whom may report into different managers globally. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening design culture on the ground, elevating craft, and ensuring designers in the region feel supported, connected, and set up to succeed. You will also be instrumental in building and scaling our design team in India, helping us attract and hire exceptional talent in a highly competitive market.

You will be pivotal in defining and executing the product strategy, working in close partnership with cross-functional leaders to deliver exceptional and user-centric experiences for fleet managers, drivers, and back-office personnel.

As a design leader who remains highly connected to the craft, you will champion the growth and development of a talented team of designers through effective mentorship and coaching, fostering a high-performance design culture. You will also be a key driver in the evolution and adoption of AI-centric product development, ensuring a scalable, unified, and high-quality user experience across our entire product ecosystem.

Reporting to our VP of Design, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team to make a significant impact on our customers' lives and contribute directly to key business objectives. If you have a proven track record of successfully leading strategic design initiatives while remaining connected to the design process and tackling complex challenges, we encourage you to apply.

What you’ll do

Product & Design Leadership

  • Lead and support a team of designers contributing to our Maintenance & Fuel domain.
  • Drive high-quality, user-centered design solutions that simplify complex workflows for fleet managers, drivers, and operations teams.
  • Partner with product and engineering to shape strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful outcomes aligned with business goals.
  • Own design execution end-to-end—from early framing and concepting through detailed design, validation, and iteration.
  • Align teams around a shared vision through strong storytelling and strategic thinking and communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across platforms.
  • Champion the use of modern AI tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Introduce and scale AI-assisted workflows across design and cross-functional teams.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging tools and practices, bringing new ideas into the organization.
  • Advocate for design excellence and a user-centric mindset across the organization.

Regional Leadership (South Asia)

  • Serve as the on-the-ground design leader in Bangalore, supporting designers across multiple teams in the region.
  • Mentor and coach designers who may not directly report to you, helping elevate craft, execution quality, and career growth.
  • Foster a strong, connected design culture in South Asia, including team rituals, critiques, and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a key connector between regional teams and global design leadership, ensuring alignment and strong collaboration.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product designers based in Bangalore.
  • Help establish Bangalore as a center of excellence for product design within the organization - playing a hands-on role in attracting, sourcing, hiring, interviewing, and closing top design talent in India.

What you’ll need

  • 8–10+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI/interaction), with experience managing and growing design teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record designing complex, data-rich web and mobile products, ideally in fleet management, logistics, or similarly complex domains.
  • Experience working with distributed/global teams, with strong collaboration across time zones.
  • Demonstrated success hiring and scaling design teams, ideally in India or similar markets.
  • Experience mentoring designers across reporting lines or contributing to regional/team-wide design culture.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing:
    • End-to-end design thinking
    • Systems-level problem solving
    • High-quality execution
    • Measurable business impact
  • Deep experience with design systems and scaling them across products and teams.
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools and workflows, and a strong point of view on how they reshape design and product development.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across disciplines.
