About the Role

The Cloudflare APAC sales organisation operates as one integrated revenue system. Account Executives, Customer Engineers, Partner Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Customer Experience Managers, Professional Services and Revenue Operations work as a continuous engine — winning, deploying, adopting, expanding, and scaling platform commitments across the full customer lifecycle.

The system is supported by an AI-embedded operating model. The work itself, however, remains human. The role of every seller at Cloudflare is to bring critical thinking, judgment, and trust to customer relationships and outcomes.

Our Enterprise team specifically helps marquee Australian corporations solve complex technical challenges while protecting their critical digital infrastructure, customer data, and online experiences.

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, you will lead Cloudflare’s strategic engagement for a portfolio of premier Melbourne-headquartered enterprise accounts across Financial Services, Healthcare, Media, and Digital Tech leaders. In this role, you will drive adoption of the Cloudflare platform across Security, Performance, Zero Trust, and AI infrastructure, positioning Cloudflare as a foundational pillar for digital transformation and enterprise resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Build and nurture deep, executive-level relationships across target named accounts, navigating complex organizational structures to establish trusted advisor status with C-suite and technology leaders
  • Territory Leadership: Formulate and lead the engagement strategy across your assigned Melbourne enterprise portfolio, driving adoption of Cloudflare’s core solutions across Cloud SaaS, Zero Trust, Network Security, and AI enablement.
  • Partner Ecosystem Engagement: Collaborate with strategic channel partners, Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), and cloud ecosystem partners to extend Cloudflare’s reach, influence, and co-selling impact within target accounts.
  • Business Development & Execution: Proactively identify and qualify high-impact enterprise opportunities, leveraging AI-assisted research and cross-functional teams to drive multi-million-dollar transformational outcomes.
  • Account Strategy & Operational Rigor: Execute comprehensive multi-year account plans while maintaining high standards in forecasting accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and deal qualification.
  • Full Lifecycle Collaboration: Partner with Customer Engineers, Customer Success, and Professional Services to ensure successful deployment, value realization, and platform expansion through to renewal.
  • Knowledge Leadership: Share industry insights, competitive intelligence, and enterprise deal strategies across the ANZ team, actively mentoring peers to elevate collective performance.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding complex B2B enterprise software or SaaS sales quotas in high-growth technology environment
  • Deep understanding of the Melbourne enterprise market, with experience navigating complex commercial procurement, legal, and risk governance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships (CIO, CISO, CTO, Head of Infrastructure) and close multi-year enterprise agreements.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex cloud, network, Zero Trust, SASE, and AI infrastructure concepts into strategic business outcomes for senior leadership.
  • High proficiency in leveraging modern sales tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate pipeline generation, deal strategy, and account research.
  • Alignment with Cloudflare’s core values: Principled, Curious, and Transparent
  • Existing network and familiarity within target accounts across Financial Services, Media, Healthcare, or Technology (e.g., ANZ Bank, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, BUPA, REA Group, Tabcorp, Xero).
  • Demonstrated success co-selling with major GSIs, regional consultancies, and cloud ecosystem vendors in ANZ.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
