Joblaze insights
Quick facts
From the original posting
We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own two foundational domains within our Product Foundations Group: Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Entitlements and Product Configuration. IAM controls how enterprise customers configure and govern access across their organizations, including a customer-facing admin console, delegated administration, and granular permissions. Entitlements and Product Configuration is a new domain we're standing up to bring a single, coherent framework to how MaintainX decides what a customer organization has access to — spanning monetization (subscription plans, paid add-ons), feature rollout and experimentation, and organization-level customization. Today that logic is scattered across several disconnected systems with no unified owner.
This role is for a PM who can operate in two different modes: driving a mature team's expanded charter, and founding a new product domain where the charter is still being defined. You'll partner with engineering to build both, and with Sales, CS, and Finance to make sure the licensing and entitlements work reflects real business operations.
What You'll Do
Own the product roadmap for IAM and Entitlements and Product Configuration teams
Define the initial charter, roadmap, and success metrics for Entitlements and Product Configuration, a new domain within Product Foundations
Partner with engineering to prioritize sequence delivery
Define a unified framework and engineering patterns for how features are flagged, gated, and rolled out across the product, replacing today's fragmented systems
Identify and prioritize the biggest gaps in how monetization, feature rollout, experimentation, and entitlements are managed today
Ensure entitlement and license-count data stays accurate as billing ownership transitions to Autodesk
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure licensing and entitlement work reflects real go-to-market and operational needs
Introduce consistent product practices across both domains
About You
6+ years of product management experience, including experience defining a roadmap or product charter with limited existing structure
Comfortable working across a mature, technically deep domain (IAM) and a nascent one (Entitlements and Product Configuration) at the same time
Technically fluent in identity concepts (authentication, authorization, SSO, SCIM, permission models) and comfortable engaging with entitlement and product-configuration concepts (feature flagging, paywalls, experimentation tooling, plan tiers)
Comfortable driving consolidation of fragmented legacy systems into a unified technical framework, partnering closely with engineering across multiple feature teams
Strong prioritization instincts — can take a loosely-scoped problem (a new domain, an expanded charter) and quickly establish what to build first and why
Experience building 0-to-1 product functions, or introducing product rigour where little existed
Comfortable partnering internally with Sales, CS, and Finance stakeholders, not just engineering
