Joblaze insights
Quick facts
From the original posting
At Nooks, we're building AI agents that automate the most important function for every company: revenue generation.
Our customers use Nooks to build agents that research accounts, run outreach, and work deals across the whole revenue lifecycle. They trust us to deliver the infrastructure across text, voice, computer use, and data to power their inbound, outbound, and deal execution. Every day, thousands of users rely on Nooks to do the work that used to take entire teams of people.
Because every company in the world has a revenue function, we're still incredibly early in our product lifecycle, which means engineers have an outsized impact. You'll ship production code on your first day, own projects from idea to production, talk directly with our customers, and help define what building and maintaining AI-native enterprise software looks like.
If you want to spend your early career helping companies solve their hardest problems, building products people genuinely love, and working alongside a team that is high-intensity, high-trust, low-ego, and playing to win, we'd love to meet you. Early in your career, the environment you choose matters more than almost anything else.
As a new graduate engineer, you'll work across the stack and collaborate closely with product, design, and customers to build features that ship quickly and make a measurable impact.
You'll:
Design, build, and ship using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
Own projects from initial idea through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Work directly with customers to understand their problems and turn feedback into product improvements.
Build product that powers agent-building, real-time collaboration, enterprise-scale workflows and automations, and human-agent interaction.
Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platform.
Low-latency voice AI on live calls and live coaching
Work across the entire agent development lifecycle, from agent-building to simulations and evals to monitoring and feedback loops.
Improve the efficiency and cost of our agents, through better agent design and context engineering.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute thoughtful feedback and review.
We're much more interested in how you think and the outcomes you are ambitious enough to drive than whether you've used every technology in our stack.
You'll likely be a great fit if you:
Are completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Have built software and agents through internships, research, open source, startups, or personal projects.
Have gotten stuck on something hard and found a way to push through.
Care whether what you build matters to the people using it.
Love learning new technologies and figuring out how to use them to solve problems for people. Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python is a plus, but not required.
Thrive in fast-moving environments where engineers take ownership and make product decisions.
Able to collaborate with teammates, be truth-seeking and low-ego, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
Can work from our San Francisco or Seattle offices.
Ownership. You’ll ship to production on your first day. From there, you'll progressively take ownership of larger features while pairing closely with experienced engineers, learning about our customer problems, product, and infrastructure. By the end of your first few months, you'll be expected to own both customer and product outcomes end-to-end. You’ll talk directly to customers, watch how they use what you built, and decide what to change.
Customer Empathy. You’ll talk directly to customers, watch how they use what you built, and decide what to change.
Intensity. We move fast because we’re intense about outcomes and building trust with our customers. If our product is not the best, we sprint to fix it.
Agency. The ideas that can change the trajectory of a product or company can come from anywhere.
AI-native. We build agents, and we invest in their ability to give us the most leverage possible. You will be in an environment where you are constantly learning how to leverage agents to increase your craft and velocity.
