About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The role

As a Staff Accountant, you will own core parts of the day-to-day accounting, monthly close for our entities and support group-level reporting. You will work in a modern, systems-driven finance stack and collaborate closely with colleagues in Stockholm and in the US.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day accounting for allocated entities across multiple jurisdictions

  • Execute the monthly close: journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations, with documenting supporting files

  • Assist with the month-on-month flux analysis, including investigating and explaining account movements

  • Support the annual audit: prepare PBC schedule and reconciliations

  • Help improve and automate close processes, reconciliations, and documentation in our ERP and surrounding tooling

  • Collaborate on intercompany transactions and group reporting matters, assist with the group consolidation queries

Who you are

To thrive in this role, we see that you are structured and process-driven, take strong ownership and accountability, and bring a problem-solving mindset to a fast-moving environment. You also communicate well in an international setting, working comfortably across cultures and time zones.

You also bring:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally from an audit firm or a fast-moving company environment

  • Experience with US GAAP in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment

  • Meticulous with reconciliations and documentation — you leave an audit trail others can follow

  • Curious and self-directed: you flag issues early, propose solutions, and want to understand the "why" behind the numbers

Nice to have

  • Experience operating within SOX and public company control environments

  • Exposure to group consolidation

  • Experience with SaaS/software company accounting

  • Experience using AI tools in finance workflows
