JOB DUTIES
- Scale and grow the HR Engineering team by hiring, onboarding and training new analysts and engineers to support Workday and HR functional area
- Provide functional & technical leadership and mentoring to team members
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of our Workday instance
- Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to analyze business requirements and drive the planning, development, testing and implementation of the system
- Identify opportunities for automation within all aspects of HR processes
- Drive regular reviews and support implementation of HR system upgrades or patches when required
- Stay updated on trends in HR technology space
- Participate in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement
- Work efficiently to scale and build cross-functional teams across a geographically dispersed organization including U.S. and India
- Manage vendor RFPs and relationships effectively to drive buying decisions for HRIS and related boundary systems
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years experience with 3+ years in leading an applications team supporting HR functional area
- Working knowledge of Workday and related integrations
- Experience integrating with other HR platforms such as Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, Performance Systems.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners in order to drive alignment
- Willingness to learn and apply processes unique to the challenges at Coinbase
- Experience in successfully applying Lean, Agile, ITIL, or process improvement to previous workflows
- Experience partnering with Security teams and delivering solutions subject to high security standards
- You are an authority at coordinating highly technical teams and delivering value to our stakeholders effectively
- You design and improve processes that solve problems in simple and scalable ways
- High proficiency in Jira, Slack, and G Suite

- Certification in Workday
- You are knowledgeable and passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain.
Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
$193,970—$228,200 USD
