From the original posting
Ricursive Intelligence is a frontier AI lab building self-improving systems, starting with chip design. We are reinventing chip development and closing the loop between AI and the hardware that fuels it, recursively accelerating the path to artificial superintelligence. Backed by $335M from Sequoia, Lightspeed, DST, and NVIDIA Ventures, we are a small and fast-paced team where every hire shapes the work.
The company has unmatched talent density, including IMO, IPHO, and IOAA gold medalists, pioneers who made prior breakthroughs in chip design: AlphaChip (Nature 2021), ePlace (DAC Best Paper Nominee 2014), RL-CCD (DAC Best Paper 2023), INSTA (DAC Best Paper 2025), and C3PO (ASP-DAC Best Paper 2026), chip leads for Apple (iPhone, iPad, M1) and Google (TPU, OpenTitan), and top researchers and engineers from Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Stanford, and MIT.
We're looking for a best-in-class Executive Assistant to join our team and support our two co-founders, Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini. In this role, you will drive the co-founders' daily priorities and manage ongoing demands for their time. You should be proactive, detail oriented, and self-driven. You should have experience juggling competing priorities and making judgments on others' behalf with little or no direction. We're looking for candidates with prior experience supporting founders or executives at Series A or B start-ups.
Key responsibilities:
Calendar Management: Manage dynamic calendars for two co-founders, resolving scheduling conflicts and preserving focus time.
Executive Liaison: Serve as the strategic gatekeeper and primary point of contact for external parties, particularly at first point of contact.
Meeting Preparation: Coordinate agendas, share context, and track post-meeting action items to ensure firm accountability.
Travel & Expenses: Manage end-to-end travel itineraries, accommodations, and daily logistics for all work travel. Support co-founders' expense submission, ensuring all receipts are captured and uploaded timely.
Office Support: Support Office Manager on large, strategic office initiatives and ad-hoc daily operations.
