About the Role at RobCo

RobCo is building the category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics and we're doing it fast. We believe that automating the ordinary frees humans to do the extraordinary, and we're building the end-to-end robotics infrastructure to make that possible - hardware, software, and AI in one stack that just works.

About the Role at RobCo

At RobCo, we don’t just build robots, we are redefining the relationship between hardware and AI. Our end-to-end solutions seamlessly combine advanced, scalable industrial hardware with a central software suite powered by Physical AI to make manufacturing truly autonomous, efficient, and scalable. By delivering field-ready robotic solutions that just work, we empower industrial companies to automate without complexity and successfully solve the global labor shortage.

With locations in Munich and Austin, and backed by leading global investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, we are redefining Autonomous Industrial Robotics.

At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious (Senior) Field Solution Technician (m/f/d) to help us establish RobCo as Europe’s leading provider of automation solutions.

You are the driving force behind the successful implementation and further development of our robot automation solutions. Your technical expertise and commitment ensure that our customers throughout Germany benefit optimally from our innovative technologies.

Your Responsibilities

  • In-house programming and testing: You will be programming, testing, and troubleshooting RoBCo solutions at our HQ prior to deploying and commissioning at the customer site

  • On-site commissioning: You will install and integrate our robot automation solutions directly at the customer's site. You will master technical challenges and ensure seamless operation.

  • Customer focus and support: You translate our customers' individual requirements into robust, efficient solutions. Training, final acceptance and support are also part of your area of responsibility.

  • Development and innovation: In our modern robotics laboratory in Munich, you will test new technologies, carry out trial setups and actively contribute to the further development of our products.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Technical expertise: Training in the field of automation technology, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, mechatronics engineer or a comparable qualification.

  • Practice and passion: Initial experience in commissioning automation solutions or similar technologies - and enthusiasm for innovative technical challenges.

  • Mobility and customer focus: You have a driving licence and enjoy travelling, Germany-wide, and make it your business to understand and exceed customer requirements.

  • Structured way of working: Precise documentation and clear communication are a matter of course for you.

  • Team spirit and problem-solving skills: You enjoy working with different departments and finding pragmatic solutions that comply with standards or set new benchmarks.

  • Language skills: Fluency in German and English.

Why join RobCo?

  • Develop modular, software-defined robotics solutions with us that set new standards in automation.

  • Help us build robots equipped with state-of-the-art AI that perceive their environment, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions in real time.

  • As part of a very dynamic and fast-growing scale-up, you will take on responsibility from day one, drive your own projects, and see the direct impact of your work.

  • Flat hierarchies, open communication, and regular 360° feedback enable fast decisions and support your professional and personal development.

  • Work out across Germany in over 7,200 studios with our subsidized Wellpass membership.

  • Flexible working hours, a modern office, and—depending on the role—the option to work from home.

  • Regular team events—from relaxed beer & pizza nights on the rooftop terrace to shared experiences on ski trips or at Oktoberfest.
