About the role:
Forter provides real-time, fully automated fraud protection for online merchants. Our technology combines cyber intelligence, identity analysis and behavioral data in a multi-layered detection system, so merchants can focus on growing their business while staying ahead of fraudsters.
We’re looking for a part-time Integrations Analyst to join the Decision Science Infra & Transformations team in our Decision Science department. You’ll help make sure our systems are accurate, reliable and increasingly automated.
50% position with flexibility during exam periods, open to bachelor's students with at least 4 semesters remaining before graduation.
What you'll be doing:
- Use AI tools every day, and build AI agents that automate manual processes and monitor the performance of our systems and models.
- Analyze large datasets to spot anomalies, data integrity issues and unusual fraud patterns across merchants.
- Build and maintain reports and monitoring that flag problems early, and investigate what’s behind them.
- Automate manual monitoring and QA work using AI agents, Python scripts and SQL queries.
- Work and collaborate with different teams, including engineers and decision scientists, to prepare and validate data for our ML system.
- Develop internal tools and processes that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Who are you?:
- You think analytically: you break down messy problems, look for the cause, and say how confident you are in your conclusions.
- You learn quickly and are comfortable picking up new tools, data and domains on your own, including AI tools.
- You’re curious about AI and automation, and want to turn manual work into automated flows.
- You have hands-on experience with Python (scripts for processing data and automating work) and SQL (queries and databases). Coursework and projects count.
- You’re detail-oriented and methodical, and you’re usually the first to notice when something in the data looks off.
