As a Manager, Field Engineering, you will lead a diverse team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects covering the Asean region. You’ll play a key leadership role at the intersection of technology and business—guiding your team to design impactful solutions and drive growth through collaboration and innovation.

You’ll empower your team to communicate complex ideas with clarity, support strategic enterprise customer engagements, and build lasting partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.

The impact you will have:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team
  • Foster an environment of belonging, continuous learning, and psychological safety that reflects Databricks’ values of customer focus, teamwork, and diversity.
  • Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions.
  • Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team, contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science (consulting or customer-facing experience preferred).
  • Enthusiasm for data, AI, and cloud technologies, and the ability to connect these to real business outcomes.
