About the team
The Radar team helps businesses manage and reduce payment fraud. Radar combines machine learning, risk signals, configurable controls, and fraud analytics to help businesses make informed decisions about payments while managing the balance between fraud prevention and revenue growth.
The Radar sales team works with businesses to understand their fraud challenges, improve payment performance, and adopt the products and services that best support their goals. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services to support customers with complex fraud profiles and payment flows.
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives responsible for growing Radar adoption and revenue.
- Set clear goals and operating rhythms for the team, including pipeline management, account planning, forecasting, and opportunity reviews.
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategy, executive engagement, business cases, commercial negotiations, and complex deals.
- Build a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining strong sales talent.
- Help define the customer segments, use cases, and commercial strategies where Radar can create the most value.
- Work with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services to improve the Radar sales motion and address customer needs.
- Build relationships with senior business, payments, risk, and technical stakeholders at strategic customers.
- Help customers understand the tradeoffs between fraud prevention, payment performance, conversion, and operational complexity.
- Use customer feedback and market insight to inform product priorities, positioning, enablement, and go-to-market plans.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of fraud trends, payments, risk management, and Stripe’s Radar products.
- Contribute to the broader sales organization through talent development, process improvements, and cross-functional leadership.
Minimum requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience, including experience selling technical products or platforms to complex organizations.
- 2+ years of people-management experience leading and developing quota-carrying sellers.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams against ambitious revenue goals.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including executive-level relationships and commercial negotiations.
- Experience developing account strategies and sales plans across multiple business units within large or complex organizations.
- Ability to understand technical products, payment flows, fraud-prevention approaches, and customer business requirements, and translate them into clear commercial value.
- Strong coaching, hiring, performance-management, and talent-development skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in payments, fraud prevention, risk management, and technology.
