We’re hiring our first UK-based People Operations Manager to build and scale our People function across the UK and EMEA. Reporting to our People Lead, you’ll be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, shaping the employee experience as we grow.
You’ll have the autonomy to set priorities, build solutions, and drive them from idea to execution. We’re looking for someone who pairs strong judgment with hands-on execution and brings clarity and structure to a fast-moving business.
People Programs & Systems
EMEA Expansion: Shape our People approach as we enter new markets, anticipating hiring and operational needs and building infrastructure that scales.
Onboarding: Build a thoughtful, efficient onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success.
Performance & Engagement: Run performance review and engagement survey cycles, equipping managers with clear guidance and turning feedback into action.
Tools & Data: Own People systems, workflows, and data accuracy across the employee lifecycle. Improve automations and integrations to keep operations running smoothly.
Benefits, Immigration & Compliance
Benefits: Manage and evolve our benefits programs, partnering with providers to deliver a seamless employee experience.
Immigration & Mobility: Own visa sponsorship, renewals, and international relocations, coordinating with Recruiting, Legal, and external counsel to keep processes moving and employees informed.
HR Compliance: Maintain employment policies, documentation, and compliance processes, working with Legal and external advisors to navigate requirements across markets.
Culture & Manager Partnership
Manager Support: Be a trusted partner on team growth, performance, feedback, and day-to-day people decisions. Build practical resources that strengthen management practices.
Culture & Connection: Create meaningful opportunities for connection and recognition as the team grows.
Communication: Keep employee resources clear and current, and make People programs easy to understand and navigate.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with the People Lead to set priorities and adapt company-wide programs to local needs.
Work with Finance, Legal, Recruiting, and Leadership to drive expansion and operational improvements.
Spot gaps, recommend solutions, and lead projects through implementation.
5+ years of People Operations or HR experience in a high-growth environment.
Experience supporting rapid expansion across EMEA, including scaling operations across countries and navigating local employment practices.
Hands-on experience with UK immigration and visa sponsorship, plus exposure to immigration and employee mobility across EMEA.
A track record of building effective programs and processes with minimal direction.
Strong judgment—you connect employee needs with business priorities and know when to act independently or bring in a partner.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives across teams from start to finish.
Experience owning HR systems, workflows, and automations; Rippling experience highly preferred.
Clear communication, high emotional intelligence, and discretion with sensitive information.
A bias toward action—you find answers, sweat the details, and follow through.
