Sales Director, EMEA

This is a senior sales opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to drive Talos’s growth with banks and TradFi institutions as institutional finance moves into digital assets and tokenized, multi-asset trading.

As Sales Director at Talos, you will own new business and key relationships across the UK, with a focus on banks and TradFi institutions entering digital assets. You will run the full deal lifecycle, from origination and discovery through solutioning, trials and close, partnering closely with Solutions and Account Management to make sure clients are set up for long-term success.

Talos runs a structured, consultative sales environment. This role suits someone with an established TradFi network, a proven record of originating revenue, and the ability to clearly articulate how institutional trading infrastructure is changing.

Responsibilities

  • Originate and close new business across banks, broker-dealers and TradFi institutions, alongside Talos’s core client segments including hedge funds, market makers, prime brokers and digital asset service providers.

  • Use and expand your network of senior bank and TradFi relationships to build a high-quality pipeline from day one.

  • Lead senior-level discovery and demo conversations, mapping institutional workflows and requirements to Talos’s product capabilities.

  • Position Talos clearly within the evolving digital asset ecosystem, translating TradFi requirements across connectivity, risk, compliance and workflow into Talos’s value proposition.

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business in partnership with Account Management, driving retention, expansion and executive-level relationships.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Solutions, Account Management, Product and Engineering to advance deals and make sure client commitments are accurate and deliverable.

  • Capture and communicate client and market insights to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce.

  • Act as a senior Talos presence in the London market, representing Talos at industry conferences and client events.

  • Share expertise and informally mentor junior members of the sales team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of client-facing sales or commercial experience within institutional financial services, fintech or enterprise SaaS serving capital markets.

  • An established network of active relationships across banks and TradFi institutions, particularly in the UK and Europe.

  • A proven track record of originating and closing new business, with quantifiable results.

  • Deep understanding of TradFi market structure and institutional trading workflows. Experience in FX, fixed income, equities or multi-asset trading environments is highly valued.

  • Familiarity with digital assets is advantageous but not required. You should bring genuine interest in how TradFi is adopting digital assets and tokenization.

  • The ability to lead consultative, senior-level sales conversations and explain complex infrastructure in clear, client-friendly terms.

  • Strong commercial judgment, with the discipline to set realistic client expectations and avoid overcommitting on product or timelines.

  • A self-directed, high-ownership approach: you can build a pipeline and maintain momentum independently, without ramp-up or close guidance.

  • A collaborative, team-first mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, distributed environment with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Based in London, or able to work from the London office.

Our Sales Approach

Talos operates a systematic, consultative sales process built around a simple principle: listen first, sell second. We take the time to understand a client's workflows, constraints, and goals before positioning a solution. We sell what we have - with deep product mastery and honest conversations about what's on the roadmap and what isn't.

We maintain a balanced pipeline across focus segments, use Salesforce rigorously to track progress, and hand off every closed deal with a documented account plan so the relationship starts on solid footing from day one.

We play the long game. Underpromise, overdeliver, and build the kind of relationships that compound over time.
