Joblaze insights
Quick facts
From the original posting
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products.
As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
Compute deals at fal are large enough that getting the underlying economics wrong is expensive, and they move fast enough that there isn't time to build a diligence process from scratch on every one. We need someone who's already run that process — end to end, under real pressure, with real capital on the line — and can own it here without needing to be walked through it.
Lead diligence on compute deals. Run the full diligence process on the data center and compute capacity transactions — financial, technical, commercial — the way you'd run it on any deal you were bringing to your own investment committee.
Own the site and vendor economics. Build and defend the models behind capacity decisions: cost structures, vendor comparisons, total cost of ownership across candidate sites.
Drive deals to close alongside the legal and deal team. Not as support — as the person who owns the diligence and financial case from first look through the signed contract.
You've led deal execution before — IB, PE, or infrastructure investing — and you're looking for a seat where you own the deal, not a committee.
You can build an underwriting model from scratch and defend every assumption in it.
You'd rather move fast on real capital decisions at a company that's still figuring out its own playbook than run another process at someone else's.
