As a Front Desk Associate on Datadog’s Office Operations team, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and productive workplace for employees, candidates, visitors, and partners. You will support both front-of-house operations and the day-to-day facilities needs of the office, including reception, building access, mail and packages, workplace maintenance, supplies, vendor coordination, and employee events. You will work closely with the broader Office Operations team, building management, security, and facilities vendors to respond to workplace issues and keep the office running smoothly. This role offers opportunities to develop your facilities and workplace operations expertise while taking ownership of a wide range of on-site needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome employees, candidates, visitors, and partners, manage guest check-ins, and help create a positive front-desk experience.
- Coordinate office access and badging, partnering with building security to support new hires, visitors, and employee requests.
- Support day-to-day facilities operations by identifying and responding to workplace issues, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and partnering with building management and external vendors through resolution.
- Manage incoming mail and packages, maintain reception and mailroom areas, and monitor and replenish office supplies.
- Coordinate workplace vendors and related operational requirements, including certificates of insurance, and source new vendors, materials, or services as needed.
- Partner with the Office Operations team to support employee requests and recurring and ad hoc office events, including monthly employee social events.
Who You Are:
- You have 2–3 years of office operations, facilities, workplace, reception, administrative, or related experience, with experience supporting day-to-day facilities needs.
- You communicate clearly and professionally in English and have entry-level Dutch language skills.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of facilities issues, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and following operational issues through resolution.
- You build positive relationships and provide thoughtful customer service while working effectively with employees, building management, security, and external vendors.
- You take initiative, solve problems resourcefully, and are comfortable taking a hands-on approach to workplace and facilities needs.
- You are able to work in the office five days per week, participate in scheduled after-hours events, and meet the role’s required response expectations for urgent on-site workplace or facilities situations outside regular office hours.
