From the original posting

Who we are

In the past, to be a successful restaurateur, you simply had to have a passion for food and a passion for people - but to succeed as a digital restaurateur you also need to have a passion for technology. We believe in the joy of serving others, and that's why we created Otter – to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery. Restaurants around the world, both large and small, including Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry’s, KFC, and Eataly trust our software to power their delivery business. We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.

About the role

As a Product Manager on the Korea team, you’ll work on two fronts. You’ll own product direction for our merchant-facing products, from POS to the admin tools that franchise HQs and store owners use every day, serving everyone from independent owners to large franchise brands. You’ll also lead our search for what’s next: new customer segments, new products, and new paths to product-market fit. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to decide what to build and why, then make it happen.

What you’ll do

Grow our core products

  • Identify the most important problems for Korean restaurant operators through direct customer conversations, data, and market research, and turn them into a clear product strategy.
  • Own the roadmap and make hard prioritization calls, balancing customer needs, competitive pressure, and business impact.
  • Build a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and shape how our products differentiate.

Find what’s next

  • Explore and validate new target customer segments where Otter can win.
  • Take new products from idea to launch, testing quickly and iterating until they find real product-market fit, or killing them when they don’t.
  • Bring an owner’s mindset to new bets: size the opportunity, define what success looks like, and make the case for where we should invest.

Across both

  • Drive engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver with urgency, with the conviction to push for what matters and the judgment to change course when the evidence says so.
  • Define success metrics for what you ship and hold yourself accountable to business outcomes such as adoption, retention, and revenue.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with end-to-end ownership of product planning, not just delivery.
  • A track record of 0-to-1 work: discovering a new customer need or segment, launching a new product or product line, and finding product-market fit.
  • Experience with B2B or SMB merchant products is a strong plus; experience in restaurant tech, POS, payments, or commerce is a bonus.
  • Strong conviction and drive & Data-driven decision making: you are comfortable making data-driven decisions, push for the right outcome, rally engineers around a clear direction
  • Native-level Korean and professional working English, as you’ll work closely with global teams.

Why join us

  • Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast! In the last 5 years, just in the US, the overall market has expanded 10X from $10B to $100B, and could expand to $500bn- $1T by 2030.
  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Seoul office. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
