From the original posting
Harvey is building its first Deal Desk presence in APAC, and this is the first hire. You will be the commercial subject matter expert for our APAC go-to-market teams across Australia, Japan, Korea and the wider region. You will help AEs shape, price, negotiate and closedeals, and make sure those deals are captured accurately in our quote-to-cash systems.
This is a hybrid role covering deal strategy and deal operations. You will report to the Head of Deal Desk, who is based in the US, and work closely with APAC GTM leadership, RevOps, Pricing and Packaging, Legal, Finance and Product.
Partner with AEs at every deal stage on structure, pricing and negotiation, not just at contracting
Build scenario-based pricing models (usage projections, ARR impact, credit allotment sizing) and use product telemetry to connect customer usage to price and value
Act as the expert on Harvey’s move to consumption-based pricing, and help AEs explain it to law firm and in-house customers
Handle redlines and non-standard requests with Legal, Finance and Product;summarize and escalate approvals
Build and maintain field-facing playbooks covering what is allowed, fallback positions and approval paths
Deliver enablement to the APAC field on pricing and deal best practices
Join customer calls where you can add value
Track the commercial pulse of the region and proactively raise trends and insights to Deal Desk and GTM leadership
Review, validate and process orders for accuracy, policy compliance and booking readiness
Act as the first line of support for Salesforce and CPQ quoting, approvals and opportunity hygiene
Manage and triage the regional Deal Ops ticket queue
Contribute to CRM and CPQ enhancements through requirements, UAT and rollouts of new workflows or guardrails
4+ years in Deal Desk, Commercial or Sales Operations, or RevOps supporting deal construction, with hands-on experience in both strategy and operations
Experience with consumption or usage-based pricing (big data, cloud infrastructure or AI platforms are a strong plus)
Pricing models and scenario analyses you built yourself and used in live deals
Experience with Salesforce and CPQ (e.g. Salesforce CPQ, DealHub) and quote-to-cash processes
Experience delivering field enablement and creating playbooks or process documentation
Clear, concise and measured communication with AEs, executives and cross-functional partners
Calm under pressure, and able to say no while staying a trusted business partner
Comfortable working autonomously with a manager in another time zone, and thriving through constant change
