About Pinterest:

This role owns how Pinterest shows up with key industry associations and on the industry's biggest stages, like Cannes Lions and Pinterest Presents. You'll be the connective tissue between Pinterest's leaders and the external industry across global tentpoles, shaping visibility, influence and reputation across the advertising and marketing landscape.

The ideal candidate brings strong integrated marketing expertise, excellent judgment, and the ability to lead through influence across a wide range of cross-functional partners. You are equally comfortable setting direction, shaping narratives, and driving excellent execution against high-priority business objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Own Pinterest’s industry presence, including executive speaking opportunities, external storytelling, and thought leadership at priority global tentpoles.
  • Develop programming for Pinterest-owned events and global industry tentpoles, including talking points, fireside chats, client panels, testimonial videos, and more.
  • Inform Pinterest's speakership strategy and lead execution across key global tentpoles— including Cannes Lions and Pinterest Presents — sourcing, pitching and securing speaking opportunities that match the right Pinterest voices to the right stages and ladder up to business priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across regional and global stakeholders to align on priority opportunities, streamline execution, and deliver high-impact industry programs.
  • Prepare and support internal spokespeople and executives for speaking engagements, developing briefs, talking points and narratives in partnership with Comms to establish a consistent, compelling Pinterest story across every stage moment.
  • Build and activate integrated partnership opportunities with clients and third-party partners that strengthen Pinterest’s industry relevance and contribute to business growth.
  • Lead end-to-end planning across briefs, workbacks, budgets, approvals, dependencies, logistics, and launch readiness to ensure programs are delivered with excellence.
  • Support measurement and optimization by defining success metrics, tracking program impact, and translating results into actionable recaps and recommendations
  • Stay ahead of industry and competitive trends to identify opportunities for Pinterest to lead timely, relevant conversations with senior brand and agency decision-makers.
  • Use AI to accelerate research, speaker briefing prep, event planning and reporting, while applying judgment and verification to establish correctness and quality.

What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in integrated marketing, B2B marketing, product marketing, brand marketing, and/or digital marketing, ideally within technology, media, advertising, agency, or platform environments.
  • Experience developing and leading multi-channel marketing programs from strategy through execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of advertisers, agencies, and sales organizations, with experience partnering closely with client-facing and revenue-driving teams.
  • Experience leading or supporting high-profile industry moments such as tentpole events, executive speaking engagements, hosted events, thought leadership programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders and functions.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with excellent operational rigor and project management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape narratives, build alignment, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and sound judgment, with the ability to move work forward independently while navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate workflows across research, drafting, synthesis, analysis, planning, and reporting, paired with strong judgment to validate accuracy, mitigate bias, and maintain ownership of final outputs in line with Pinterest’s AI expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field or equivalent experience.
