About Flexport:
Your responsibilities as a Marketing Manager APAC include, but are not limited to the following:
About the role
As the first dedicated owner for brand awareness, thought leadership, and media/PR in APAC, you will have the unique opportunity to establish new ground and build our regional presence from the bottom up. We're hiring a Marketing Manager to close that gap: a generalist across content, events, and media who can stand up APAC's top-of-funnel engine and build a credible local media presence, working closely with global marketing and regional business teams.
What You’ll do:
- Develop and execute an integrated, multi-channel APAC marketing strategy spanning events, media/PR, and content, aligned with global brand goals and regional growth priorities.
- Plan and execute APAC event presence across industry conferences, field/partner events, and high-touch client gatherings, managing end-to-end logistics, messaging, and follow-up.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our regional webinar and event programming, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to drive targeted attendee engagement.
- Define and own APAC's media and PR strategy: establish press relationships, evaluate paid media channels, and build country-by-country distribution plans across target markets.
- Produce targeted regional content—including articles, social campaigns, and sales enablement assets—tailored to key sub-regions (South East Asia, Greater China, Indian Sub Continent, and Oceania).
- Evaluate and manage external partners, including regional PR agencies, event vendors, and media outlets, to expand our brand footprint.
- Identify and test market-specific advertising and sponsorship opportunities to build local brand awareness and support lead generation.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to build campaign landing pages, manage lead flows, and measure event and channel performance.
- Monitor market trends and campaign analytics to continually refine regional marketing tactics across events, media, and digital channels.
- Identify market-specific advertising opportunities to increase brand awareness.
What You'll bring
- Experience running B2B content, field, or demand-gen marketing in a fast-moving, multi-market environment.
- Working knowledge of media and PR - comfortable defining press targets and a distribution strategy, not just executing campaigns.
- Marketing Automation & CRM: Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) (or similar platforms like HubSpot/Marketo), including lead scoring, nurturing, and funnel optimization.
- Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with a strong ability to build dashboards, track ROI, and analyze campaign performance metrics.
- Exposure to more than one APAC market and an instinct for where content and channels need to flex by country.
- A generalist mindset - happy moving between content, events, and media in a single week, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent English (spoken & written); additional APAC language skills a plus for localised content and YouTube/video work.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with regional GMs, global US teams, sales leaders, and external vendors.
